BATUBULAN

This village
is famous for its Barong & Kris Dance which is performed everyday in two
different timing: morning and evening. Morning dance is conducted from 09:30
to 10:30. The Barong & Kris dance tells us about the balance between
goodness and badness in everyday life of Hindus. Visitors are advised to see
it all because it is so attractive and entertaining. Besides, this area is
well-known for its spectacular stone carvings. Find them more on the spot to
have real descriptions of Balinese style carvings.

CELUK
|
It is a silver and gold smith village
which has been renowned all over the world. Various and high quality silver
work is made by local silver smiths which is incomparable to any places in
Bali. For jewellery lovers, it is highly recommended to have a visit in to
this place and buy one for souvenir or self-used. This place is reachable
only 20 minutes drive from Ubud or 5 minutes from Barong Dance venue of
Batubulan. Various unique design silver works are produced everyday and
showcase in each art shop along Celuk street. Not only is it admired by local
people, it is much loved by people from other countries. This makes the
silver work producers export their high quality work to United States,
England, Japan, etc.

MAS VILLAGE

An art village
seems to be very suitable to address this place. Thousands of handicrafts and
paintings can easily be found here. If you look for either old or modern
furniture, this village offers a wide range. Starting from entering the
village, on both sides of the road you will see lots of displays of art from
the shops and they seem attracting visitors to have a closer look inside.
This is a good place to visit by art lovers because they can go from one shop
(or gallery) to another just in seconds. It takes only 10 minutes drive from
Celuk or 15 minutes drive from Ubud city you can have high quality arts which
are originally made by local villagers. Throngs of visitors visit this place
every day, and now is your turn to be part of them and see the specialty of
Balinese art.

TAMPAK SIRING

Another prestigious historical remain
is Holy Spring Water Temple (Pura Tirta Empul) nestled in Tampak Siring
district, Gianyar regency. This temple is famous for its ‘holy bathing and
showers’ which is believed to eliminate diseases and to purify human body and
spirit. Furthermore, close to this temple, we can see the mansion of
Indonesian president which was built by first president of Indonesia. The
palace was built elegantly in a modern style on its era. Throngs of visitors
come into this place every day especially on a holy day such as full moon or
the temple ceremony. We highly recommend you visit this place once you are in
Bali and do purification under the fountains of the pool.

KINTAMANI

Kintamani is famous for its volcano
(Mount Batur), Lake Batur and Batur Temple. It is located in Kintamani
village, Bangli regency and takes about 50 minutes drive from Ubud or 1,5
hours from Denpasar. These three main attractions attract many visitors to
enjoy the incomparable and fascinating views of Bali’s nature. These
mountainous tourist objects have always chilly and cool weather that tease
visitors enjoy tea or coffee in a local restaurant around the area. Throngs

Tegallalang
Rice Terrace is the second biggest rice terrace in the island. It unveils the
uniqueness of local genius in coordinating with nature to form a beautiful
rice terrace. Pay a visit around morning or late afternoon and get the best
nuance of the site while enjoying some coffee or tea in a coffee shop nearby.
The best time to come here is between Februarys to September as it is mostly
dry around this time and allows you to have the best photos. If you like
trekking, it is also possible to do it here and our driver will be glad to
guide you along the way. If you are one of agro-tourism lovers, do not miss a
visit to coffee plantation which is about 3 minutes drive to the north. Do
not miss the chance to taste different kinds of coffee and buy some for
souvenirs.

UBUD

Famous for its art and culture, Ubud
becomes the only tourism object to which people interested in arts are coming
and visiting this place. Frankly speaking, Ubud tourism site is focusing on
arts and culture; thus, many art work can be found almost everywhere in Ubud.
Museums and fine art galleries are plenty. Besides, Ubud is also famous for
its traditional market and holy monkeys (Monkey Forest). Ubud traditional
market starts from early morning to eight o’clock, and will change to an art
market afterwards. Both traditional and art markets are so recommended as
they offer a very competitive price. The monkey forest itself is just 10
minutes away from the market. There are more than 300 sacred monkeys there
and they are quite friendly to the visitors. If you come and visit it, do not
forget to bring some bananas for them.
